I have always bought the New Balance velcro closure sneakers from LL Bean and was always pleased with them. The reason I bought them through Amazon is because LL Bean did not have the velcro closure sneakers in stock for some reason. I was very disappointed with these sneakers from Amazon. I always have worn a size 7. These sneakers feel samaller and tighter than any of the New Balance sneakers I ordered from LL Bean. I believe they are irregulars. Also the velcro straps are smaller and do not hold. The straps are too short. I was very disappointed in these sneakers to say the least.

I walk a lot! I really like the shoes, they are comfortable and have good support. It is great that they come in a wide width. The Velcro is great - easy to use. I need to get used to the tongue, it is a tiny bit long and feels weird but it is definitely not worth returning the shoes.
